Valentines Day Tips

Traditional stockings and suspenders are the perfect choice for Valentine's Day or simply a romantic evening. They are sure to make you feel beautiful. Gio Point and Cuban Heel are a good choice if you like the fully fashioned seamed style, alternatively Gerbe Passion have a feminine lace top and are a little thicker on a cold night. Also worth considering are the Gerbe Sun Satin stockings, which are slightly more sheer and add a lovely sheen to the leg. If it is silk stockings you are after, then we have a wonderful pair from Paris.

Obviously, if you do decide on stockings, you will need a suspender belt to hold them in place.  Perhaps consider one of our incredibly comfortable and classical suspender belts (also called garter belts), or even a whole new lingerie outfit.

Hold Ups are a great in between for those of you who wouldn't choose stockings but want to try something different.  These will add elegance and are very attractive. Perhaps a pair of the classical Falke Seidenglatt 15, which have a plain sheer leg with a lace top if you like something subtle to go with the little black dress.  For a safe bet, perhaps try the Wolford hold ups or Falke Lunelle 8 for their beautiful shine.

If you prefer to wear tights then you could go for a seamed pair like the Gerbe Fatal 15 or Falke High Heel, to make you feel special. They elongate your legs and draw the eye. Perhaps you may fancy something a bit more daring, if so, wear something with a pattern, like the Ballerina tights that have an intricate design.
