Very interesting informations and analysis.
It reveals what I feeled in my diferents trop over countries.
UK is still the top european country for stocking, even if In France many women are stocking wearers.
I have to say that during my several trips in Italy , I’ve never seen any woman in stockings or seamed , maybe I was not lucky !

Not surprised the UK is top stockings wearing nation – sure it’s been that way for some decades. Back in the 80s, for her thirtieth birthday I got my wife stockings and suspender belt and convinced her to abandon her tights for stockings at a friend’s party. The stockings were black, seamed with pointed heel and, combined with high heels and lbd, she looked absolutely stunning. She became a man magnet at the party and thoroughly enjoyed all the attention from countless good looking fellas, all excited by her seams! She dumped tights and, as she ran a beauty salon, she quickly switched to seamed stockings for day wear too.

Hi Eduardo, thank you for the comment. I took a look for you, and found that Latin America countries appears in the ranking at about number 40. One thing about ordering from Canada and US is that we rarely see the larger number of top quality lines and fashion (or trend) releases on websites/in stores over here. I order predominantly from UK / Europe because I like new styles and am impressed with the quality of the stockings etc that I can get even at the low/mid price point. People ask me where I buy my stockings and I encourage them to look at overseas sites; we rarely see all of the amazing designs, variety of price points and high quality brands here. (That isn’t to say there aren’t a few available locally, just that you offer more).Keep up the great work.

I am from Uruguay and can realize there is no Latin American country in the ranking. I suppose it is due a “cultural” thing. Women in this part of the world do not seem prone to wear stockings. But I myself have ordered and bought many pairs for the different girlfriends I have had throughout my life, including my current wife. I bought them from different stores, including yours, from which I ordered the last pair. Because from time to time I work abroad, I usually take the chance to buy one or two pair of backseam stockings. I love them and more so how feminine women look like when they wear them.

Hi Michelle, I agree. I would say that the US, for example, has a huge population, so that skews the results a little. It may well be that a higher percentage of women in France and Italy wear stockings, than those in America. However, as there are more women in the US, and hence we receive more orders, then that means they rank higher in the table. For the next table, perhaps I need to work on sales compared to population levels (reaching for calculator…!). Thanks Michelle, have a good night. Lucy x

I was shocked that Italy wasn’t higher on the list. I’ve been there several times and notice so many women wearing stockings and not pantyhose. France I thought would be higher as well because I notice the same there. I love wearing my stockings to work as well as out at night. Nothing like a mans reaction to seeing you’re wearing a garterbelt with silk stockings.
